Patienten mit bösartigem Gliom-Rezidiv erhalten zwei Infusionen im Abstand von acht Wochen, bei denen IL13-PE38QQR über zwei intratumorale Katheter für vier Tage eingebracht wird. Die Medikamentenkonzentration wird in den aufeinanderfolgenden Kohorten untersucht, um die maximale zugelassene Dosis festzustellen, dann werden bis 35 Patienten am MTD behandelt, um die Wirksamkeit einzuzuschätzen.

Phase I/II Study of the NABTT Consortium
Patients with recurrent malignant glioma will receive two infusions eight weeks apart of IL13-PE38QQR via two intratumoral catheters for four days. Drug concentration will be escalated in successive cohorts to determine the maximum tolerated dose, then up to 35 patients will be treated at the MTD to estimate efficacy.
